Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea have over 1000 Ebola cases. We haven't gotten to OVER NINE THOUSAND!!! territory yet, though..
Monrovia has flights to Brussels and Casablanca (through Brussels Airlines) and flights to Freetown and Casablanca (through Royal Air Maroc.) British Airways begins flights to London Heathrow on March 31, 2015.
Freetown has flights to Brussels and Monrovia (through Brussels Airlines), Accra and Dakar (through Eagle Atlantic), and Casablanca and Monrovia. British Airways begins flights to London Heathrow on December 31, 2014.
Conakry (Guinea) has flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle (through Air France), Brussels (through Brussels Airlines), Bamako (through Douniah Airlines), and Casablanca (through Royal Air Maroc.) Beginning December 1, 2014, Turkish Airlines begins flight to Istanbul-Ataturk.
Since the outbreak is contained in Nigeria and Senegal, we will ignore those countries.
Let's analyze the data to see how the screening procedures go for Brussels Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Eagle Atlantic, Air France, and Douniah Airlines.
According to the Helsinki Times [1] Air France has passengers fill out a questionnaire and get a temperature check. Boarding cards are issued only if the passenger is not symptomatic. This is possibly flawed. Ebola does have an incubation period, and we saw how disastrous Air France's method may be in the case of the American man who experienced first symptoms in the US.
Liberia plans to prosecute the man who has traveled to Dallas with Ebola for lying on the questionnaire. This points out that Roberts International Airport of Monrovia or Brussels Airlines has implemented questionnaires in the decision.
Royal Air Maroc does not implement a questionnaire system at least in Casablanca [2], but rather uses a thermal camera to detect fevers. As with Air France, this could possibly be lethal.
Douniah Airlines has no data, it being a small airline that has just seven destinations.
Eagle Atlantic does not have any data either. The small Ghanaian airline seems to not have anything concerning Ebola.
